About The People

I know that some of you would not trust anything without knowing something personal about the people behind the products.

Actually I do not think that my story is particularly interesting but for those who are interested, here it comes.

I was born 40 years ago near Milan, in the northern part of Italy in a working class family. My parents managed to put me through the entire primary school and high school cycle. I was pretty good at school. At the age of 15 I fell in love with the Anglo Saxon culture when I discovered American Football. I played for three years and there I met my first Americans.
In the same years I discovered home computers like many others of my generation.

I graduated in Aerospace Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of Milan, but, in the first half of the '90s, the Italian aerospace industry was in turmoil. So my 286 PC landed me to my first job for the company now called "Accenture". I developed, in VB, a very complex business intelligence and budgeting system for the Italian subsidiary of a multinational food company, based on what later will become Hyperion.

After that I worked for the Milan Airport Authority.

Then I was in charge of web business development by a local Software House.

Then I was in charge of business intelligence by a l'Oreal Italian subsidiary.

Then I was the Business Intelligence Chief by a small local Software House.

Now I'm a Project Manager for Business Intelligence by a large Italian consulting firm.

A couple of years ago some things happened that made me realize that I could not stand any more the corporate environment. That's why you are reading these lines. If you want to learn more about this story go here.
